Atlanta Roswell District

Now District Superintendent of the Atlanta Roswell District, Ed Tomlinson was the Executive Assistant to Bishop Lindsey Davis from 1999-2007. Twice he was a District Superintendent before this appointment (Atlanta-Roswell and Rome-Carrollton). He has served Briarcliff, Allgood Road, Mt. Bethel, and Northside churches.

He was a General Conference delegate in 2000 and 2004 (when he chaired the General Administration Legislative Committee). He serves as Vice Chairperson of the 2008 delegation from North Georgia. He has been a delegate to Jurisdictional Conferences since 1988.

He is a graduate of Emory and Henry College and Candler School of Theology. He earned a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary (Dayton, Ohio). He and his wife, Nancy, attend Roswell Church. They are the parents of two married daughters, Lisa Engberg (Mrs. Jeff) and Kelly Bachman (Mrs. Chuck). They have four grandchildren, Ayden Engberg, Hannah Bachman, Jordan Engberg, and Tate Edward Bachman.
